Stabilised Oxygen is a non technical term referring to a liquid solution containing oxygen atoms which are stabilised with buffers and electrolytes so that the product can be bottled without the oxygen being released before its needed.
The compound is alkaline (pH 11.2 - 11.9). The result is a stable environment of oxygen which can be taken as a dietary supplement. When taken the stabilised oxygen comes into contact with the acidic environment of digestive acids where it releases nascent oxygents (single atoms of oxygen). |
